Trademarks
Trademarks and service marks protect signs that can be graphically represented, particularly words, including personal names, designs, letters, numerals, the shape of goods or of their packaging, three-dimensional forms, colours, as well as the combinations of all the above-indicated signs, provided that such signs can distinguish the goods or services of one undertaking from goods or services of other undertakings.
A trademark provides protection to the owner of the mark by ensuring the exclusive right to use it to identify goods or services for the paid period. However, a trademark can be renewed indefinitely beyond the time limit by payment of renewal fees.
Our job, as a patent attorney, is to provide clients with services regarding trademark filing and the registration procedure, valuation on the possibility of confusion in the market, renewal of trademarks. We provide comprehensive services, which include enforcement of the trademarks of our clients by appropriate legal action, defending our clients against the claims of trademark infringements and unfair competition made by others.
The trademark registration procedure and its validation differs from country to country and on our pages you can find all the necessary information for any particular country of your interest.
